Competition on the program "Molecular and cellular biology"

In accordance with the Resolution of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences No. 47 dated 12.02.2008, the Scientific Council of the Program of Fundamental Research of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences "Molecular and Cellular Biology" announces a competition for 2008-2012.

The funds allocated by the RAS Presidium will be distributed according to the following types of competition:• Competition (A) – grants for fundamental ICD for 5 years (2008-2012). A full grant is at least 4.3 million rubles per year for experimental research; in some cases, a half grant is issued; for theoretical work, grants are reduced in size.

• Competition (B) – grants for socially oriented fundamental research of the ICD for 5 years (2008-2012). The size of the grants is the same.

• Competition (NG-) – grants for New groups for 3 years (2008-2010) in the amount of at least 2.15 million rubles per year.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 29 , 2008 and March 17 , 2008 .
