Ernst Schering Foundation Scholarships for Young Scientists

The Ernst Schering Foundation (Germany) provides scholarships to talented young scientists conducting research in biology, medicine and organic chemistry, as well as in related industries.

Biologists, chemists, physicians, as well as specialists in specific interdisciplinary fields (biochemistry, bioinformatics, etc.) who graduated with honors no later than two years before applying are invited to participate in the scholarship program. Work on a PhD thesis can be carried out at a university or institute in any country.

Projects in the field of botany and dentistry, as well as projects aimed at conducting clinical research, are not funded.

Scholarships are allocated for a period of up to 2 years.

The deadline for submitting applications is July 31 and January 31 of the current year (date by postmark).
