2015 Scholarship Competition "For Women in Science" L'OREAL – UNESCO

The program "For Women in Science" has been implemented in Russia since 2007 with the participation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the UNESCO Office in Moscow and is part of the international project L'OREAL-UNESCO "For Women in Science".

According to the terms of the competition, female scientists, candidates of sciences under the age of 35, working in Russian scientific institutes and universities in the following disciplines: physics, chemistry, medicine and biology can become applicants for the national scholarship.

The criteria for choosing scholarship holders are the candidate's scientific achievements, the significance and practical benefits of his research, as well as the desire to continue his scientific career in Russia.

The amount of the L'OREAL-UNESCO scholarship is 400,000 rubles.

In total, ten scholarships are planned to be awarded to Russian women scientists in 2015.

Applications for the contest are accepted on the contest website and will last until August 31, 2015.
