Innovation Forum is looking for startups

The Forum of Innovations Foundation begins the competitive selection of 120 innovative start-ups in Russia

The Innovation Forum Foundation announces the start of a competitive selection of the most promising start-ups in Russia. By October 1, the expert jury will select 120 high–tech companies, whose representatives will be able to take part in the Open Innovations Forum free of charge on October 31 - November 2, 2013 in Moscow (Crocus Expo IEC).

At the Forum, 120 representatives of project teams will be able to get acquainted with venture entrepreneurs and financiers, heads of private equity funds, representatives of regional and federal authorities in order to attract financing for the implementation of their projects.

The key topic of the 2013 Forum will be "New rules of the game in the Global Market: breakthrough technologies and those who create them" (DisruptionandInnovation: GameChangersPoweringtheGlobalMarket).

The intellectual producer of the Forum is the independent publishing company MIT Technology Review, founded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. For 12 years, MIT Technology Review has been holding the Innovators Under 35 competition, forming a rating of young innovators whose projects, according to the company's experts and a representative jury, will change the world.

You can apply for participation in the competition on the Forum's website in the "Participants" section. Representatives of start-ups will have several selection stages: preparation of the project presentation in PowerPoint in Russian and English, filling out a questionnaire, Skype interview.

In 2012, the Open Innovations Forum brought together almost 5,000 representatives of the innovation community, Russian development institutions, venture entrepreneurs, financiers, as well as officials. More than 700 experts shared their vision of future technologies, including such recognized international business gurus as Richard Branson, Alan Atkisson, Hans Vestberg, Josh Lerner, Stephen Burrill and many others.
