The Department of Innovative Pharmacy, Medical Technology and Biotechnology continues to accept applications
Recruitment of students to the interfaculty department "Innovative Pharmacy, medical Technology and Biotechnology" is carried out for the 1st year of the master's degree. Applications are accepted at the Dean's office from June 20 to July 26.
At the Department of Innovative Pharmacy, Medical Technology and Biotechnology, students gain new knowledge in the field of medicine, biology, medical chemistry and physics, pharmacy, medical instrumentation, etc. The focus of the training of this set of students will be medical equipment and cellular technologies.
The priority of the department is the training of innovative entrepreneurs in the field of living systems. Along with scientific knowledge, students gain experience in preparing documentation to attract funding for the initial development of their projects, as well as business training to create their own life science startups. The curriculum will include lectures on both the specialty and technological entrepreneurship. It is planned that classes on technological entrepreneurship will be conducted by representatives of the participating companies of the Severny Biopharmaceutical Cluster together with Rusnano and RVC.
Upon admission to the department, students have opportunities to work in the laboratories of the Center for Living Systems and Biopharmineering at MIPT, where they develop medicines, medical instrumentation, implement projects in the fields of cellular and genomic technologies, develop areas of translational medicine, agrobiotechnology, artificial organ creation, microfluidics, space medicine, bioinformatics, neurotechnology and much more. In addition, internships are available to students of the department with the possibility of subsequent employment in companies that are part of the Biopharmaceutical Cluster "Severny" — the basic organization of the department, such as GC "HimRar", "Altonics", "Neurobotics", "DNA Heritage", etc.
Training at the department also includes theoretical courses, internships, lectures, master classes from leading experts in the field of life science, work on joint projects with collaborators in Russia and abroad, participation in International conferences, including Phystechbiomed, which are held on the initiative of the Severny Biopharmaceutical Cluster and the Center for Living Systems and biofarm engineering.
