Dear friends!
We are pleased to announce a competition for participation in the School of Molecular and Theoretical Biology 2013. The School's program is designed for high school students and is aimed at integrating participants into the workflow of scientific research in laboratories. Classes will be held from August 7 to August 24 in Pushchino, Moscow region.
Applications filled out on the website (participant questionnaire and support letter) are accepted from March 1 to April 15. Applications sent on April 16 after 00:00 Moscow time will not be able to be considered by the admissions committee.
Before filling out the application, we ask you to read the information about the School in detail. Special attention should be paid to the sections on the rules for applying for participation and on the organization of the educational process. In 2013, the list of mandatory information about the applicant includes a letter of support. We advise you not to delay the search for a person who can write it, and we strongly recommend avoiding situations where a letter is written by a high school student himself, but signed by another person. The main part of the application is filled in by the contestant himself, regardless of the support letter.
Participation in the School is free for all those who have successfully passed the competitive selection. Additional information about possible fare compensation can be found in the section "Fare payment".
The School of Molecular and Theoretical Biology has been organized and funded by the Dmitry Zimin Dynasty Foundation since 2012. In 2013, the School is held with the support of the Medical Institute. Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
