Grants 2015 for postgraduate studies on the topic
Molecular genetics of plants at the University of Oslo (Norway)

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Oslo, pursuing ambitious goals of forming advanced research groups, announces a competitive selection for specialists with a master's degree in molecular biology. Successful candidates must demonstrate a high level of academic success at previous levels of education. Applicants are required to have experience in the field of fluorescent imaging. The advantage will be enjoyed by candidates who have the skill to work in at least one of the following areas: DNA cloning and recombination technologies, gene expression analysis, and some related technologies. 

The scholarship is awarded for a period of three years, provided there is no teaching load, and for four years if 25% of the graduate student's working time is devoted to teaching. The program is funded by the Research Council of Norway. 

The application for participation in the competition is submitted online until August 1, 2015. The program starts on October 1, 2015.
