Recruitment of students to Pushchinsky training center of molecular biology
"Biomolecule"The Training Center for Molecular Biology of the Institute of Protein of the Russian Academy of Sciences, together with the Interfaculty Scientific and Educational Center of Moscow State University in Pushchino, are conducting another competitive recruitment of undergraduate students for training and specialization in molecular biology.
Applications for participation in the competition should be sent by April 30, 2015.
The competition is open to students of natural science faculties (physics, chemistry and biology) of universities and other universities who graduate from the III-IV courses (with 5 years of study, or bachelor's degree) or IV-V courses (with 6 years of study) in 2015.
The students who have passed the competition will be seconded to the Training Center for specialization in molecular biology with the continuation of their studies at their main university according to an individual curriculum.
Those graduating from bachelor's degree in 2015 will be recommended for admission to the Master's degree program of the Faculty of Biotechnology of Moscow State University with the completion of a master's thesis at the Institute of Protein of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Passing specialization and performing qualification work in the laboratories of the Protein Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, students will acquire knowledge and practical skills in the study of protein biosynthesis, genetic and protein engineering, physical and chemical methods used in molecular biology.
The preliminary selection of the contest participants will be conducted in absentia based on the data contained in the application. The selected participants will be invited to a face-to-face competition, which will be held from June 29 to July 10, 2015 in Pushchino.
