Applications for the RUSNANOPRIZE 2013 prize are open
In 2013, the prize will be awarded in the direction of "Nanomaterials and surface modification".
Applications for the RUSNANOPRIZE 2013 International Nanotechnology Award have been accepted. According to the decision of the Board of Rusnano in 2013, the award will be awarded in the direction: "Nanomaterials and surface modification". This area of science is traditionally characterized by high demand for nanotechnology research and is important for the development of a number of key industries for Russia.
The monetary part of the award will amount to 3 million rubles. It will be awarded to a researcher or a group of researchers – authors of a scientific and technological development or invention in the field of nanotechnology introduced into mass production with an annual production volume of at least $ 10 million.
The winner of the award, in addition to the author of the development, will be a company that has applied this development for the first time in mass production or has achieved commercial success due to its implementation.
Russian and foreign organizations, as well as individuals, with the exception of members of the Award Committee, have the right to nominate candidates for the competition. Self-nomination of applicants is allowed, among other things.
The RUSNANOPRIZE Award is designed to promote the integration of business needs and the interests of the scientific community, as well as broad public recognition of the importance of the practical application of nanotechnology. It promotes the development of experimental and applied scientific research and development in the field of nanotechnology and their introduction into production, international cooperation in this industry, public recognition of the role of individual scientists, developers and teams who have brought scientific research to life.
The Award Directorate accepts applications for the RUSNANOPRIZE until August 20, 2013.
