Scholarships for students from the Bayer Concern

The Bayer Concern once again provides promising students with the opportunity to apply to its Foundation for Science and Education (Bayer Science & Education Foundation) to receive a scholarship to participate in special study abroad projects.

Funds will be allocated for training in the following specialties: biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, development and design of biotechnological processes, chemistry, chemical technology, medicine, pharmacy, physics and teaching of scientific disciplines. 150 thousand euros are spent annually from the Fund for these purposes.

Sponsorship is provided both to students from Germany who plan to study abroad, and to foreign students who want to take a course of study in Germany.

The deadline for applying for a scholarship is July 31, 2009. The application form is available on the Internet at http://www.bayer-foundations.com . Decisions on awarding scholarships have already been made by an independent council.
