announces the start of accepting applications for the START program
This year, the START program has been transferred to a grant basis, which significantly simplifies the procedure for obtaining funding for scientific and technical developments. Applications for the competition are accepted continuously throughout the year, applications are considered as they are received, the deadline for consideration and making a decision on financing will be 4 months from the date of signing the application. Previously, information about the collection of applications for the START program was announced once at the beginning of the year, applications were accepted in each direction alternately on strictly designated dates in accordance with 94-FZ.
"In 2013, we carried out a set of measures to transfer the SMART GUY program to a grant basis, this year we transferred the START program," said Sergey Polyakov, General Director of the Foundation. "The new grant system will avoid most of the difficulties associated with the federal contract system."
The competition of the "START" program covers traditional areas: information technology, medicine, modern materials and technologies for their creation, devices and hardware complexes, biotechnologies. Applications are accepted at http://online .fasie.ru. Detailed recommendations and instructions for filling out applications are set out in the Regulations on the START Program.
Applications are accepted from established small businesses. The program provides for the financing of projects by the Fund for three years: in the first year – 1 million rubles, in the second and third – 2 and 3 million rubles, respectively. One of the main selection criteria for the second and third years is the attraction of funds for the implementation of the project from extra–budgetary sources.
