Student competition for the best business plan of an innovative project
The next IV Student competition "The best business plan of an innovative project" has started.
The student competition "The Best Business Plan of an innovative project" was first organized by the Innovation Bureau "Expert" in 2005. The competition is held annually as part of the Russian Innovation Competition. The idea of the student competition is to develop and finalize business plans of projects submitted to the Russian Innovation Competition by groups of students.
Objectives of the Competition- assistance in the development of the personnel training system for innovation activities,
- development of contacts between students and scientists-developers,
- assistance in increasing the activity of students, scientists and researchers, inventors, engineers and technicians,
- providing information support to students who want to work in the innovation field.
The subject of the CompetitionThe subject of the Competition is the examination and evaluation of business plans developed by students, the selection and promotion of the best.
For the purposes of this Competition, the "business plan of an innovative project" means a presentation for a potential partner or investor of the results of a marketing research of a scientific and technical development market (invention, utility model, "know-how", research results, etc.), justification of the market development strategy, the expected financial results of commercialization of this development.
The source of information about scientific and technical developments and their authors is the database of the current Competition of Russian Innovations. Business plans are developed only for projects submitted for the "Innovative" and "Promising" nominations. "Promising" projects include projects that are at the early ("seed") stages of development, do not have a prototype and require a significant share of R&D. "Innovative projects" assume a high degree of R&D readiness, the availability of a prototype product and a well-developed strategy for commercialization of the development.
Winners of the ContestThe winners of the competition will be selected from among the participating teams that have demonstrated the best performance of their project in the aggregate of the following groups of indicators:
- Quality of the business plan
- Presentation quality
- Team quality
Contest participantsStudents of 3-5 courses of the declared universities and master 's degree students can take part in the Competition .
In the process of working on projects, students receive
- practical skills in writing a business plan for an innovative project,
- experience working in a team,
- possibility of contacts with scientists, developers and investors,
- material for the future graduation project,
- the possibility of employment in the innovative field,
- the opportunity to present your projects at events held by the Organizing Committee of the Competition.
Participation in the Contest is free of charge.
The collection of applications will last until January 15, 2009.
