Student competition of innovative projects SKIP-Start-10

Students and young scientists! Young entrepreneurs! We invite you to take part in the Intercollegiate student competition of innovative projects – SKIP-Start-10

SKIP-Start is a unique opportunity to test yourself as a business leader or a project participant: to find or come up with an innovative idea, make a plan for its technical implementation, develop a business strategy, make a business plan, find partners and investors to implement the idea.

For entrepreneurs and managers of enterprises implementing their ideas, SKIP-Start is an opportunity to pick up a team, find young smart and energetic specialists; an opportunity to launch new products, introduce new technology.

For investors, business angels and venture capitalists, SKIP-Start is an opportunity to find projects for financing and successfully implement them, invest money profitably and get a good profit.

The main idea of the Contest:You can't learn entrepreneurship at a lecture.
The competition of innovative projects provides students with the opportunity to try their hand at business: to find or come up with an innovative idea, make a plan for its technical implementation, develop a business strategy, make a business plan, find partners and investors to implement the idea.

Goals of the organizers:• Show students options for self-realization, taking into account the education they receive;

• Involve students in the implementation of real innovative projects, including those initiated by the students themselves.

Who can participate in the Competition:Students and young scientists of academic and research institutes, young entrepreneurs


For the Winner of the Competition:1. Free participation in the joint exhibition of the Competition and in the business program at the 11th international forum "High Technologies of the 21st century"

2. Presentation at the presentation session of the Competition as part of the business program of the 11th International forum "high Technologies of the 21st century"
3. The possibility of attracting financing to the project from the Moscow and federal budgets, attracting extra-budgetary financing
4. Placement of information at discounted prices about the project on advertising posters, banners and videos of the Organizing Committee of the Competition on the streets of Moscow

SKIP-Start Participant Package:1. Granting the Status Of A Participant

Process:1st stage (January – February).
Preparatory – formation of working bodies (Organizing Committee, Expert Council, Jury).
2nd stage (February – March). Formation of a database of ideas, projects and orders.
Stage 3 (April). Presentation for participants. Presentations for the formation of the "Job Fair" teams. A series of seminars and lectures on the implementation of innovative ideas (selection of ideas, formation of teams, selection of a business model, development of an R&D plan, preparation of a business plan, intellectual property protection, marketing, financial issues). Completion of the stage – preparation of project presentations.
Stage 4 (May – July): Examination of projects and selection of semi–finalists - about 30 projects, public holding of semi-finals and finals (8-10 projects). Presentation session – announcements (1-2 min) and speeches of finalists (7-10 min), dialogue with the Jury (10-15 min). Awarding. Meetings and negotiations with potential partners and investors.
Stage 5. Implementation of projects. Support in the implementation by the Organizing Committee and Partners of the competition.
Stage 6. Results.
