Support program for international visits and exchanges

The program of the British Council for the Support of International Visits and Exchanges is aimed at maintaining new scientific contacts of young scientists.

For each scientist, the grant will cover the cost of a ticket and per diem, as well as part of the cost of consumables for the laboratory. The duration of the stay can range from one week to three months.

Scientific connections can be maintained in any scientific field, engineering and technology, including humanities.

In 2008, in honor of the upcoming anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth, a special RXP Darwin Award was established.

A young scientist is considered a specialist who has worked in the scientific field for no more than 6 years after defending a dissertation or graduate students of the last year of study.

The duration of visits ranges from one week to three months, which can be divided into several trips.

The maximum grant that can be applied for is 5,000.00 GBP. Several applications can be submitted from the scientific group separately for each scientist.

The deadline for submitting applications is July 2, 2008.
