Research competition in the form of popular science articles: tasks and your solutions

To participate in the research competition of students and postgraduates, young scientists, teachers, it is necessary to follow certain rules that contribute to the search for unique creative scientists who can explain the meaning of their work to anyone.

The purpose of the competition is to support students, postgraduates, young scientists, teachers who publish the results of their research activities in leading scientific journals, as well as novice journalists engaged in the popularization of science.

The main directions of the competition: chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, materials sciences, including functional materials, structural materials, biomaterials, electrochemical energy, new current sources and materials for them, optical sensors, diagnostics using giant raman spectroscopy, modeling using supercomputers; nanotechnology and nanomaterials; biology and biotechnology; ecology and environmental management; teaching of natural sciences in the context of nanotechnology at school.

University students, postgraduates, young scientists and specialists, teachers, aspiring journalists (up to 35 years old) can become participants of the competition. The competition is held on the basis of a collegial evaluation by the jury members of individual works specially prepared for this competition. A competitive work can have only one author – an official participant of the competition. One participant can submit several different works in compliance with the basic rules of the competition for each of them. Several works may be submitted from the same team for the same nomination if they differ significantly from each other (that is, each of them must be original, with its own ideas and style of presentation). It is allowed to submit works of the contest "Just about complicated" to the competition.
