X Competition of Russian innovations

The media holding "Expert" announces the beginning of the X anniversary Competition of Russian Innovations, which has been held annually since 2001.

The competition accepts innovative projects from various fields of science, technology and technology that are at various stages of development, implementation and operation of innovative products and technologies. The authors of the projects can be both organizations (without restrictions on the scale and organizational and legal form), as well as creative teams, individuals.

The projects are divided into four categories depending on the stages of the innovation life cycle:
  • "White Book" (the stage of development of an innovative idea);
  • "Promising projects" (a significant part of R&D has been completed);
  • "Innovative projects" (product prototype);
  • "Success story" (the product is put on the market).

The expert council of the competition carries out the examination and evaluation of projects.

The competition is held in 3 rounds.

The participants of the 1st round (about 400-500 projects) submit a completed questionnaire and pass a preliminary selection.

The participants of the 2nd round (about 100 projects) present an extended description of their project.

The participants of the 3rd round (about 30 projects) conduct a personal presentation of the project in front of experts.

According to the results of the presentations, the winners of the competition (5-10 projects) are determined, who receive prizes and prizes from the organizers and partners of the competition.

Since 2005, the student competition "The best business plan of an innovative project" has been held within the framework of the competition. Its participants – student teams of the best Russian universities – prepare and defend business plans for innovative projects that have entered the current competition and passed the 2nd round.

Over 4,000 innovative projects have been submitted for the competition for 9 years. The last competition received 539 innovative projects, 117 teams from 55 Russian universities took part in the student competition.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until March 18, 2011.

The competition is open. To participate, you only need to fill out a questionnaire on the contest website.
