"Young, daring, promising" – 2014

The Committee for Science and Higher Education of St. Petersburg is holding a competition of business ideas, scientific and technical developments and research projects in 2014 under the motto "Young, daring, promising".

The contest is held in order to develop scientific and stimulate innovative activity of young people in accordance with the Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg dated 30.06.2010 No. 883 "On awards of the Government of St. Petersburg to the winners of the contest of business ideas, scientific and technical developments and research projects under the motto "Young, daring, promising" and the order of the Committee on Science and the Higher school dated 07.07.2010 No. 40 "On measures to implement the Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg dated 30.06.2010 No. 883".

The competition is open to citizens of the Russian Federation aged 18 to 35 years, engaged in scientific, scientific-technical and (or) innovative activities.

The competition is held in three categories:

  1. "Business idea",
  2. "Scientific and technical development",
  3. "Research project".

Three winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) are determined in each nomination.

The winners of the competition are awarded prizes of the Government of St. Petersburg in the amount of:

  • 100 thousand rubles – for the first place;
  •  60 thousand rubles – for the second place;
  •  40 thousand rubles – for the third place.

Applications for the competition are accepted from April 30 to June 1, 2014 (inclusive). Each participant of the competition can submit no more than one application.
