Nikita Mikhalkov did not become the main pseudoscientist of the year
At the forum "Scientists against Myths–13" held in Moscow, the anti-prize "Honorary Academician LIED" was awarded for achievements in the field of pseudoscience and pseudoscience.
The main prizes – a figure of a sad reptiloid and a diploma of the Academician of the LIAR – went to the well-known activist of the anti-vaccination movement, the author of anti-vaccination books, Candidate of Biological Sciences Galina Chervonskaya.

Mikhalkov was not left without an award – "for his outstanding directorial and acting talent aimed at spreading delusional ideas," he was awarded the "Vroskar Award of the Lying Film Academy."
Head of the Prize Organizing Committee, scientific journalist Alexander Sokolov noted that all the finalists of the 2020 prize in their speeches somehow relate to the topic of vaccination. Pseudomedicine is a serious threat to society. Anti-vaccinators put children at risk of infectious diseases such as diphtheria, tuberculosis or measles.

- Olga Svarnik – Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Senior Researcher at the V.B. Shvyrkov Laboratory of Psychophysiology of the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Oleg Ugolnikov – Astronomer, Ph.D., Senior Researcher at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Vladimir Petrov – Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Radiochemistry of the Chemical Faculty of Moscow State University, Head of the Laboratory of Dosimetry and Environmental Radioactivity;
- Yuri Sivolap – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University;
