On June 5, scientists will fight myths and drill granite

On June 5, 2016, the scientific and educational forum "Scientists against Myths", organized by the portal, will be held for the first time in DI Telegraph (Moscow, Tverskaya) Antropogenez.ru Famous Russian scientists and popularizers of science will fight pseudoscience: anthropologist Stanislav Drobyshevsky, scientific journalist Alexander Sokolov, historian Klim Zhukov, astronomer Vladimir Surdin, archaeologist Arthur Chubur, Egyptologist Roman Orekhov and others.

What can unite such diverse scientists on one platform? At the forum "Scientists against Myths", the speakers intend to give scientific, based on indisputable facts, answers to questions that now and then excite the minds of ordinary people. Who built the pyramids after all? Did Indians ride dinosaurs? Were there Americans on the moon? Was there a Slavic Hyperborea? And has Darwin's theory of evolution been proven?

What is the uniqueness of the event? The ancient Egyptian technique of drilling granite with copper tools will be reconstructed and demonstrated for the first time at the forum. And visitors will be greeted by an exhibition of skulls of human ancestors, with which everyone can take a picture.

For those who do not have the opportunity to come to Moscow, an online broadcast of the event is planned.
