Announcement of the nominees for the Prix Galien Russia 2014

The Prix Galien Russia was first held in Moscow in October 2013 under the auspices of a committee consisting of outstanding specialists involved in the field of Russian and international pharmaceutical research.

The Prix Galien is awarded worldwide for outstanding achievements in improving global human living conditions through the development of therapeutic innovations.

Yesterday, the organizers of the Prix Galien Russia announced the official list of nominees for the 2014 prize. The winners in five nominations will be announced at the ceremony, which will be held on October 23 at the Pashkov House. Divided into two main groups, "Biopharmaceuticals" and "Medical Devices", Prix Galien Russia 2014 has a total of 33 candidates in the following categories:

• Research in Russia,
• Pharmaceutical substance,
• Biotechnological product,
• Medical device
• A medical device manufactured in Russia.

Nominees for the "Research in Russia" Award: DIASKINTEST (CJSC GENERIUM)

• Radachlorin (LLC "RadaFarma")
• The original strategy for the creation of dipeptide drugs (FSBI "V.V. Zakusov Research Institute of Pharmacology" RAMS)
• Zoleren (CJSC "Pharm-Sintez")
• Bacteriophages (MIPT Center for Living Systems)

Nominees for the award "Medical device manufactured in Russia":Amicard 01 K (LLC "Amicard")

• Technologies of Hydrogel biochips for Medical Diagnostics (V.A. Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences)
• Orphagen (MIPT Center for Living Systems)
• Diagnostic laboratory system "Thrombodynamics recorder T-2" ("HemaCor")
• Laser analyzer of the isotopic composition of exhaled air (A.M. Prokhorov Institute of General Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, E.V. Stepanov)
