JSC "RVC" signed a trilateral cooperation agreement
On February 5, 2009 JSC "Russian Venture Company" signed a cooperation agreement with the Administration of the Kemerovo region and JSC "Kuzbass Technopark".
The purpose of the agreement is to consolidate the efforts of the parties to develop the venture investment industry and innovative sectors of the economy in the Kemerovo region. The main areas of cooperation will be:
- assistance in the formation of regional venture funds of the Kemerovo region, including within the framework of PPP;
- organicasia of personnel training for the venture industry;
- building and developing an effective system of technology parks, innovation and technology clusters, business incubators;
- support for the development of priority innovative projects in accordance with the List of Critical Technologies of the Russian Federation;
- search for the most promising innovative projects in the region and transfer information about them to the management companies of venture funds, including those created with the participation of the parties to the agreement.
After the signing of the agreement, a round table "Venture funds as a tool to overcome the crisis" was held, which was attended by many well-known entrepreneurs and potential investors of Kuzbass. Representatives of the management of RVC and the Kemerovo region answered the questions of businessmen related to the specifics of the ongoing program for the creation of venture funds and the development of technological entrepreneurship and measures to stimulate investment.
Also, during the visit, the Investment Director of JSC "RVC" visited the facilities of the Kuzbass Technopark, got acquainted with the production facilities and products of the Kemerovo innovative company "Neokor", which has developed and produces unique biological prostheses for use in cardiovascular surgery.
Representatives of JSC RVC noted the high efficiency of measures taken in the Kemerovo region to create an innovative infrastructure as a base for the development of venture investment.
The participants agreed to develop and implement mutually acceptable and effective mechanisms of interaction to achieve the goals of the signed agreement.
