The winners of the competition of entrepreneurial projects, which was held by MSU, Intel and Rusnano, became known.

The prizes were taken by the ideas of the intervertebral disc prosthesis, motion capture technology and modeling of the results of the upcoming plastic surgery.

The summer training School on innovative entrepreneurship, organized with the support of Intel Corporation, Rusnano and Lomonosov Moscow State University, ended with a competition of entrepreneurial projects.

The first place with the iPi Motion Capture & 3D Content Creation Tools project was won by Mikhail Nikonov, Pavel Sorokin and Andrey Bibichev, who are developing motion capture technology that does not use special markers and does not require expensive equipment. This allows you to easily and quickly transfer the actor's movements to computer 3D models, the press service of Rusnano reports.

Alexey Vertaev, Alexey Venediktov and Andrey Grishkin with the Endocarbon project were the second. The purpose of their work is artificial prostheses of intervertebral discs, which are more biocompatible compared to competitors. In particular, they should be more durable (up to 60 years) and conveniently implanted.

The project "Biomodeling" by Alexander Petrov and Dmitry Stepkin became the third. The team has developed a software product that allows you to visualize the result of the upcoming plastic surgery. Three-dimensional modeling is performed based on the properties of tissues.

"We are convinced that innovative entrepreneurship is the natural and only way for Russia's equal participation in the world economy in the XXI century," said Alexey Nikolaev, head of Intel's program for work with universities in Russia and the CIS. – Intel strives to help start-up companies bring their ideas and their potential to life. A wide range of our educational programs is designed so that regional innovative companies can integrate into global programs and gain access to the world's leading practices."

The winning teams will receive financial support to participate in the international business plan competition of Intel and the University of California at Berkeley in November 2010.

The organizers of the Summer Training School on Innovative Entrepreneurship were InnovationStudio (a joint project of Moscow State University and Intel), Rusnano and JSC Special Economic Zones.
