In addition, chocolate can improve brain function. But not every product containing cocoa can be called chocolate. But only that which is made of cocoa products and sugar. It must contain at least 35% of the total dry residue of cocoa products. In particular - at least 18% cocoa butter and at least 14% of the dry non-fat residue of cocoa products.

Dark chocolate can also improve the cardiovascular health of a person. A favorable effect on the heart has flavanol. This substance improves the condition of blood vessels, protecting the person as a whole from heart disease in the future.

There is an opinion that the Aztecs were the first to learn how to make chocolate. They called it the food of the gods. Spanish conquistadors, who first brought chocolate to Europe, dubbed the delicacy "black gold" and used it to strengthen physical strength and endurance. Only at the beginning of the 20th century, with the advent of industrial production, people outside the aristocracy were able to enjoy chocolate.
