The first selection of nominees for the title of "CLEVER Skolkovets" has ended
for the cluster "Biological and medical technologies"i-russia
Within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the non-profit organization Foundation for the Development of the Center for the Development and Commercialization of New Technologies (Skolkovo Foundation) and the Foundation for the Promotion of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Field, the first selection of nominees for the title of "SMART-Skolkovets" for the Cluster "Biological and Medical Technologies" has been completed

Experts and representatives of the BMT Cluster design companies, together with experts from the Assistance Fund, participated in the selection at the final events accredited by the Assistance Fund under the "SMART GUY" program at Moscow State University and the Institute of Molecular Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Representatives of the BMT Cluster appreciated the high level of preparation of the winners of these events, many of whom received the status of nominees "UMNIK-Skolkovets". This status allows them to participate in an event organized by the BMT Cluster, which will be held on March 15, 2011, where the heads of Skolkovo resident companies will be able to offer them joint participation in the development of their innovative projects and receive the status of "SMART-Skolkovets".

Also, the "SMART GUY-Skolkovets" gets the opportunity to optionally:

• enroll in the staff of one of the participants of the BMT Cluster development site and/or in the BMT Cluster (or in another structural subdivision of the Skolkovo Foundation recommended by the BMT Cluster), while maintaining the status of "SMART-Skolkovets" 
• recommended by the BMT Cluster to one of its strategic industry and/or institutional partners, while maintaining the status of "SMART-Skolkovets"
• to participate in various educational, research and innovation programs of the Skolkovo Foundation, it is worth noting that not only young innovators from Moscow, but also from St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Pushchino were selected among the nominees for the title of "SMART Skolkovo Student".
