Biotechnologies are sitting
Arkady Dvorkovich held a visiting meeting of the working group on the development of biotechnologies
During the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Education and Science drew attention to the need to take into account the opinions of the regions where innovative territorial clusters in the field of biomedicine are located when preparing proposals for a preliminary assessment of budget allocations from the federal budget for 2014-2016 in terms of federal target programs.
In addition, the meeting considered the issue of improving state regulation of the circulation of medicines, including legislative aspects and harmonization of preclinical and clinical research standards with the regulations of the European Union. Arkady Dvorkovich supported the proposal on separate regulatory ways for innovative medicines, including those created with the support of development institutes and Federal Target Program.
Following the discussion, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with interested executive authorities, to develop and approve conditions and criteria by July 1, 2013, according to which medicines produced in Russia using components of foreign origin can be classified as medicines of Russian origin.
The meeting was held on 19.03.2013 at the High-Tech Center "HimRar" in Khimki near Moscow. Arkady Dvorkovich got acquainted with the research infrastructure of the ChemRar Research Center, and also took part in the opening ceremony of the new biotechnological production of BioIntegrator LLC.
