Tver State University will spend a million on bacteria

As part of the implementation of the Green Chemistry project, the bacterium Lactobacillus delbrueckii, known as the "Bulgarian Wand", is being purchased at TvSU.

The corresponding tender appeared on the public procurement website. According to the document, Tver State University is going to spend 1 million rubles to grant a non-exclusive license right to use the Lactobacillus delbrueckii strain as part of the Green Chemistry Engineering Center project.

According to the terms of reference, the strain of "Bulgarian bacillus" must be presented in the form of a culture liquid, and also meet the requirements specified by the customer.

The bacterium is necessary for the production of products of the IC TvGU "Green Chemistry". Recall that the engineering center was established at the Department of Physico-Chemical methods for the study of high-molecular compounds on the basis of JSC VNIISV to obtain from various types of biomass a wide range of low-tonnage products with high consumer properties within one compact industrial production, mainly from biodegradable polymers and copolymers.
