How many, how many billions?

The Ministry of Finance confirmed that it will allocate 85 billion rubles to Skolkovo by 2015

RIA NewsThe volumes of state budget financing of the work on the creation of the Skolkovo innovation center envisaged until 2015 will not be reduced, the press secretary of the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Andrey Matveev told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, a number of media reported that the Ministry of Finance allegedly intends to cut the amount of budget funds allocated for the Skolkovo project.

"The planned amount of funding for the creation of the Skolkovo center remains unchanged, namely 85 billion (rubles) from 2010 to 2015," Matveev said.

The Skolkovo Innovation Center is to become Russia's largest testing ground for a new economic policy. Special conditions for research and development, including the creation of energy and energy-efficient technologies, nuclear, space, biomedical and computer technologies, will be created in the specially designated territory.
