RUSNANO CEO Anatoly Chubais will take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held on June 4-6.The Head of the Corporation will take part in several sessions, hold a number of working meetings with the heads of Russian and foreign high-tech companies, representatives of international business circles. Also within the framework of the Forum, RUSNANO will sign several agreements at once, including with the Renova Group of Companies, the MICEX Group, JSC Republican Investment Company (Sakha Republic).
In particular, on June 4, RUSNANO and the Renova Group of Companies will sign an investment agreement on a project to create solar modules in Russia based on advanced technology for creating thin-film solar cells (thin film technology). At the end of the signing ceremony, a joint briefing will be held by RUSNANO CEO Anatoly Chubais and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee Viktor Vekselberg.
On the same day, a meeting of the Council of the Round Table of Industrialists of Russia and the EU will be held, co-chaired by the head of RUSNANO Anatoly Chubais and Chairman of the Management Board of A.P. Moller Maersk Niels Andersen. The Round Table will be attended by British Minister of Trade and Investment Lord Mervyn Davis, BP p.l.c. Chief Executive Tony Hayward, European Commissioner for Trade Catherine Ashton, VTB President Andrey Kostin, RSPP President Alexander Shokhin, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Renova Group Viktor Vekselberg, CEO of Severstal" Alexey Mordashov et al . One of the main topics of discussion will be the reconciliation of the global nature of the economic crisis and national interests in the process of developing anti-crisis programs.
On June 5, the head of the Corporation Anatoly Chubais will take part in the interactive session "The Power of Innovation: when will tomorrow come?". Microsoft International President Jean-Philippe Courtois, Intel Chairman Craig Barrett, Novartis CEO Joerg Reinhardt, Alstom Chairman and CEO Patrick Kron and others will also speak at the session. During the discussion, the participants will discuss the prospects for the development of high-tech industries, their future place in the global economy and the role of the state and the world's largest technology corporations in stimulating technological progress.
At the end of the session, RUSNANO and the MICEX Group will sign an agreement on the creation of a new exchange sector of the Investment and Innovation Market.
