Retired! Take an example from Berlusconi!

Of course, in a good way, in terms of active longevity and strong... uh... health, not questionable morality and abuse of official position.

The Vatican called on S. Berlusconi for morality

The Vatican authorities are concerned about the recent sex scandal that broke out around Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, and called on politicians to behave morally. The Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, made a corresponding statement, commenting on reports about the Prime minister's alleged ties with a minor, the BBC reports.

The Italian prosecutor's office is investigating the case of the 74-year-old politician's involvement in the illegal release from the police of a minor immigrant, known as Ruby, who is illegally in Italy.

A girl from Morocco was arrested on suspicion of stealing 3 thousand euros, but later released after the personal intervention of S. Berlusconi. At the same time, at present the question is not only about whether the Italian prime minister abused his powers by rescuing an illegal immigrant from the hands of justice. Investigators are now no less interested in finding out whether 18-year-old Ruby was engaged in prostitution.

It should be noted that such scandals are very critically perceived by both the Italian media and the political forces of the republic. In particular, Gianfranco Fini, a former political supporter of S. Berlusconi, stated that the sex scandals associated with the prime minister's name "put the whole of Italy in a bad light." S. Berlusconi himself traditionally denies any such accusations against him. He argues his sympathy for the weaker sex by saying that "it is better to love beautiful girls than gays."
