RUSNANO: new assignment

Andrey Svinarenko was appointed a member of the Management Board, Deputy General Director of RUSNANO

The decision on the appointment was made at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the corporation.

In his new position, Andrey Svinarenko will oversee issues of stimulating domestic and external demand for high-tech products and services, educational projects of RUSNANO, issues of improving educational infrastructure to support projects funded by the corporation.

Andrey Gennadyevich Svinarenko was born on September 24, 1953. In 1974 he graduated from the Plekhanov Moscow Institute of National Economy. In 1974-1984 – worked in the State Committee of the RSFSR, the Ministry of Culture of the USSR. In 1984-1991, he worked in various positions in the USSR State Planning Committee. Since 1991 – in the Ministry of Economy of Russia. In 1995-2000 – Deputy Minister, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Russian Federation. In 2000-2004 – First Deputy Minister of Industry, Science and Technology of the Russian Federation. In 2004 - 2007 – Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. From March 2007 to February 2009 – Executive Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Since February 2009 – Member of the Management Board, Deputy General Director of the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation (RUSNANO).
