The international conference Russian Innovation Week opens in the USA, supported by RUSNANO, RVC and the Skolkovo Foundation

The event is dedicated to the issues of cooperation between Russian and American companies in such high-tech fields as biotechnology, nanotechnology and telecommunications. One of the main topics on the conference agenda is the discussion of mechanisms for effective interaction between foreign investors and representatives of Russian innovative business.

The conference will bring together representatives of the investment community, government and development institutions on one platform. Among the participants of the event are Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Oleg Fomichev, Chairman of the Board of Rusnano Anatoly Chubais, Head of RVC Igor Agamirzyan, founder of the Plug and Play Tech Center business incubator Said Amidi, Senior Vice President for Development and Commercialization of the Skolkovo Foundation Alexey Beltyukov and co-founder of the Draper and Johnson Investment Company Franklin "Pitch" Johnson.

"I hope that the conference will serve as a basis for creating new Russian-American projects and help attract investment in them," said Dmitry Akhanov, President of Rusnano USA. "Over the past three years, Rusnano has invested more than a billion dollars in 18 projects implemented in partnership with companies from the United States, and we intend to develop this area of cooperation."
