The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Khristenko considers it inappropriate to create a state pharmaceutical holding, the idea of which was announced earlier as part of the development of an industry development strategy.

"By and large, increasing state participation in this segment (pharmaceutical production – ed.), from my point of view, is absolutely impractical," he said, answering a question from journalists whether the idea of creating a state pharmaceutical holding is still alive.
