Valery Bespalov recalled that the new technopark will unite companies operating in the field of high technologies on its premises.
"Some of them will be occupied by structures close to the MedInj organization, and the other by IT companies," the agency interlocutor explained, adding that applications from potential residents are currently being accepted.
Commenting on the name of the new technopark, on the building of which the inscription "Penza Universal Technopark of Innovative Nanotechnologies" is placed, and its capital letters read the same as the surname of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Valery Bespalov said that "it just happened."
"This idea [of naming the technopark] was announced about six months ago by the governor, and it was implemented," Valery Bespalov said.
Penza Region is one of the 12 regions included in the comprehensive program "Creation of High-tech technoparks in the Russian Federation".
According to the Department of Innovation Policy and Special Projects of the Government of the Penza Region, 1 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for the creation of the facility. 149 million rubles.
It is expected that projects for the production of joint endoprostheses, coronary stents, surgical suture material, innovative nanocomposites will be implemented on the technopark's premises, which will successfully compete with the best foreign samples on the market.
It is planned that the Penza high-tech technopark will become the center of a medical cluster, which will increase the market share of domestic high-tech medical products from 3% to 50%.
