Specialists of the holding "Roselektronika" designed a multimedia system for the diagnosis of vascular diseases. The Venovisor hardware and software complex provides visualization of the vascular bed and allows diagnosing valvular insufficiency and thrombosis of the superficial and peripheral veins of the extremities, as well as various forms of varicose veins.

Venovisor provides at least five hours of continuous operation, communicating via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G Wireless, USB 2/3. The dimensions of the device are 25x15x9 cm, weight – 1.5 kg. The price is from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles, while imported analogues cost about 300 thousand rubles. rubles'.

The development is based on the patented Television Research Institute (part of Roselektronika) method of "image quality improvement".

"Venovisor" consists of a source of incoherent radiation in the visible and near infrared, safe for human health, a TV camera and a tablet computer. It can be used in any external lighting, including as part of telemedicine systems. At the same time, the distance to the object of observation should be in the range of 10-50 cm, the diameter of the laminar blood flow should be at least 0.8 mm, the depth of the blood flow from the skin surface should not exceed 7 mm.

In addition to the main purpose, the device allows for sclerotomy of small diameter veins (cosmetology), mapping of the venous pattern (phlebology). It is practically indispensable when performing internal injections in patients with insufficiently clear vein pattern. It is effective in pediatrics, in the treatment of patients with hypotension or blood loss, as well as dark-skinned patients.
