The journal "Cell Transplantology and Tissue Engineering" is available in electronic form

On the portal http://www.celltranspl.ru / an online version of the popular scientific-informational, analytical journal "Cell Transplantology and Tissue Engineering" has been opened. All issues of the magazine are now available for free in electronic form to everyone. The project is sponsored by Gemabank, a stem cell bank.

The journal "Cell Transplantology and Tissue Engineering" has been published since 2005 and is intended for a wide range of specialists – doctors of various specialties, biologists, students and anyone interested in achievements in the field of cellular technologies in domestic and foreign medicine. The journal is recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for the publication of the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences. The editorial board includes well-known experts in the field of cell biology, hematology, embryology and others. The magazine is published once a quarter, with a circulation of 2000 copies and is distributed by subscription, available to both institutions and individuals. The publisher Is the Human Stem Cell Institute.

Director of Gemabank Prikhodko A.V.: "Today, among innovative technologies in medicine, one of the most promising is cell therapy. Work in the field of cellular technologies is a rather complex process that requires the involvement of highly qualified personnel. In Russia, such specialists are not trained anywhere, only self-education can contribute to the development of the industry. The CTTI journal has become a good textbook for cell technologists, but it is not always available. Therefore, the project of creating a free online version of the magazine is now more relevant than ever. Undoubtedly, this project will be appreciated by the scientific community, especially young scientists. Of course, the fact that the extensive scientific materials published in CTTI will become more accessible to a wide range of readers will contribute to the development of cellular technologies in Russia."

The executive editor of the KTTI magazine, R.V. Deev, comments: "The advantages of opening an online version of the KTTI magazine are obvious. Now any Internet user will be able to quickly and free of charge get the information he is interested in on the scientific issues covered by the journal. By launching the electronic version of the magazine, we will significantly expand our audience. Online magazines are a trend of the times. Paper editions, of course, will continue to exist, but already in minimal editions, mainly for storage in specialized scientific libraries of the country. The future, of course, belongs to ergonomic electronic versions. It is also important that the online form of the journal "KTTI" will provide interactive communication on the forum between the authors of articles and readers of the journal, who will be able to comment directly on published materials. All of the above aspects will certainly lead to the unification of the scientific community and improve the quality of research in the field of cellular technologies."
