Biohacker millionaire Sergey Fage spoke about the costs of "eternal life"

A millionaire of Russian origin, the founder of Ostrovok and TokBox is confident that pills, injections and implants will help him become a superman. For this, he is ready to starve three times a week, as well as give up emotions, relationships and children.

Last September, Silicon Valley entrepreneur Sergey Fage published an article on the Hacker Noon technology website. He wrote: "I'm 32 years old and I spent $200,000 on biohacking. I became calmer, slimmer, more sociable, healthier and happier." And also much smarter and more sexually active.

During the year, the entrepreneur's expenses for biohacking increased by another $ 50,000, the lion's share of them fell on consultations with elite doctors – $ 500 per hour.

For a person who is going to live forever, these are not the most serious costs. And, unlike other billionaires fixated on the idea of superman, Fage honestly talks about all the procedures that take place every day, writes the Guardian.

Sensors

One of the most important components of his life is a healthy sleep. To control this process, the businessman wears an Oura smart ring, which analyzes his sleep indicators at the level of somnological laboratories. And in the evening he puts on glasses with orange glasses – they block the cold blue light, which prevents him from falling asleep.

To improve his already perfect hearing, Fage puts on special hearing aids for $6,000.

The sensor, which constantly measures the level of glucose in the blood and sends data to the application on the smartphone, he implanted under a layer of subcutaneous fat on the abdomen.

Pills

In the morning – right after meditation, but before breakfast – the entrepreneur drinks 40 pills. Among them are the usual supplements like garlic capsules, and prescription drugs. These are, for example, SSRI antidepressants (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), lithium and estrogen blockers. He takes another 20 tablets during the day.

Estrogen blockers increase testosterone levels by 50%. According to Fage, this allows him to conduct his business more efficiently and aggressively. He also takes thyroid hormones – their level is naturally lowered.

Biohacker also drinks metformin, a drug for type 2 diabetes. He is not ill, but during clinical trials the drug showed a strong anti-aging effect.

And microdoses of statins – with their help, Phage is going to reduce cholesterol levels and, as a result, the risk of heart attack in the next 80 years. Every day, the businessman gives injections of somatropin, a growth hormone that helps his muscles develop.

Beliefs

At the same time, Phage eats only once a day, fasts three times a week through the process of "autophagy" and adheres to a low-carb diet. Biohacker does not use sugar in any form, including does not eat bread, honey and pasta. He also completely excluded pornography, masturbation, alcohol, employment, processed food, social networks and the media from his life.

Antidepressants, by the way, he does not take because of depression. "They help to keep the mind clear, not clouded by emotions. I need a good mood, confidence, concentration, energy, willpower, stress resistance, calmness, health, longevity and the ability to solve intellectual problems. In the complete absence of anxiety and imposed social standards. Constantly. With minimal risks and time costs," explained Fage.

To improve his intelligence, biohacker used LSD in rather large doses – 900-1000 micrograms. He also took MDMA (ecstasy) to establish an emotional connection with his family and resolve disagreements with a work colleague.

Doctors

According to the businessman, the most difficult thing was to find a team of doctors equally passionate about preventive medicine. "People most often die from cardiovascular diseases, cancer and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. But they don't develop suddenly. When the symptoms appear, it's too late. But the disease has been slowly forming for 40-50 years, because various body systems have been working incorrectly all this time," Fage is sure.

Therefore, every few months the biohacker undergoes a full examination. He is sure that out of seven billion people on Earth, there are hardly a thousand people who know as much about their health status.

As for Fage's personal life, it cannot be called saturated. He is not interested in serious relationships, and spending a lot of time on dates in order to eventually have sex, biohacker considers a waste of time. Therefore, he prefers to use the services of girls from escort agencies.

"They are not prostitutes, rather they are models who become mistresses of wealthy men. Such women have watches for $ 20,000, and they rest in Monaco," explained Fage.

The entrepreneur considers children to be an "unprofitable investment", and therefore does not plan to have them. According to biohacker, many of his friends admitted that they regret their decision to start a family. Children do not bring them joy, but they distract them from really important tasks.

A plan for eternal life

Fage plans to spend his eternal life on a permanent upgrade of his body and consciousness. He is confident that the development of technology will provide everyone with food, medicines and work. However, a handful of superhumans will rule the planet. They will be older, smarter and more perfect than everyone else, and at 80 they will be as young and healthy as thirty-year-olds. They will have conglomerates providing services and huge political influence at their disposal.

On the other hand, this may not happen. Humanity, according to Fage, can take a different path and live in virtual reality capsules. And the company of superhumans will go to colonize other planets, because they will be bored to manage such an undeveloped population.

Alas, while Fage does not look like Superman at all. Despite five years of biohacking, he is still 170 cm tall, weighs 69 kg, and his body, although it looks fit, does not resemble an antique statue.

A gray hoodie over a white T-shirt, black circles under his eyes and an unconvincing beard make him indistinguishable from other inhabitants of Silicon Valley.

And the very idea of turning a superman is far from innovative. There are already many ways to expand the capabilities of your body. Some are very painful, like implanting microchips, others are completely harmless, like strapped digital knee pads.

So, last August, 50 employees of Three Square Market implanted an RFID tag. A chip the size of a grain of rice allows you not only to quickly buy a soda or a donut in an office cafe, but also replaces an employee's magnetic card – opens the doors to the company building and offices, allows you to enter a login and password to log into a corporate computer. The experiment was recognized as successful – another 30 people decided to become "cyborgs".

And Elon Musk believes that most people do not realize that the world has already entered the phase of cyborgization. This is how he regards people's excessive attachment to gadgets.
