Russian Innovation Week

The main event of scientific, technical and innovative nature will be the Russian Innovation Week for our country, which will be held from September 30 to October 8, 2009 in two Russian capitals, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

The Russian Innovation Week is the first large–scale event in Russia that meets modern challenges and is aimed at developing key solutions, recommendations and measures to implement an innovative scenario for economic development.

Organizers: Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Administration of St. Petersburg, Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies.

As part of the complex of events in St. Petersburg will be held: II St. Petersburg International Innovation Forum, the exposition "Innovative Russia", the XIII International Forum "Russian Industrialist", the IV Russian exhibition DISPLAY-2009 (www.display-expo.ru ), as well as more than 20 congress events that will bring together leading representatives of the Russian and foreign innovation sphere: science and education, industry, nanotechnology, electronics and instrumentation, venture investment, infrastructure. All events will be held on the territory of the LENEXPO exhibition complex.

As part of the Moscow part of the program, a congress and exhibition on nanotechnology will be held at Expocentre Fairgrounds.
