Academy of Biology and Biotechnology opened in Rostov

The Research Institute of Biology of the Southern Federal University has its own academy. It will serve exclusively science – both for fundamental and applied scientific research.

Their field is wide: biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, neurobiology and neuroengineering, biochemistry, genetics, human and animal physiology, zoology, botany, introduction and conservation of plant and animal biodiversity, as well as ecology and biogeochemistry.

In addition, a student research institute of the Faculty of Chemistry was opened at the SFU. 38 students, postgraduates and young chemists will work there.
