Federal target program on the development of medical science will be sent to the government in the near future

RIA NewsThe Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation will soon send the concept of the Federal Target Program (FTP) for the development of medical science to the government, the head of the Ministry Veronika Skvortsova said on Tuesday.

"We have completed our joint work on the concept of the Federal Target Program for the Development of Medical Science. In the near future, this concept will be submitted to the government for consideration and approval, since it is a long–term financing of medical science," she said, speaking at the general meeting of the Academy of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.

Skvortsova also said that it was decided to create an institute that will develop the direction of biomedical cell technologies.
