Forever young hamburger

For 14 years since the day of cooking, the "world's oldest hamburger" has not aged at all

Inopressa"It took only a couple of minutes to cook it, but 14 years later, the burger, nicknamed "the oldest in the world," looks exactly the same as in 1999," reports Independent correspondent Rob Williams (14 years after it was made the 'World's oldest hamburger' looks like it hasn't aged a day...).

According to David Whipple, the owner of the burger, he planned to keep it for only two months to show friends that it would not change at all, because it was stuffed with preservatives, and then forgot about it.

For 14 years, the hamburger has not been covered with fungus or mold, and the meat in the cutlet has not rotted. (In any case, it looks quite appetizing in the picture, but hardly anyone, even from McDonald's employees, will agree to taste it - VM.) Now Whipple shows the hamburger to his grandchildren to dissuade them from eating fast food.

McDonalds found it difficult to provide a detailed explanation of the phenomenon due to the lack of information about storage conditions. In a lengthy press statement, it says that there is nothing surprising in the longevity of the burger, since "bacteria and mold appear only under certain conditions."
