Rusnano will prepare schoolchildren for life in nanoculture<url>
Rusnano State Corporation, headed by Anatoly Chubais, is going to create a network of schools whose main specialization will be nanotechnology.

The newspaper "RBC daily" writes that the state corporation plans to spend almost 28 million rubles for these purposes (Nano Beam in the dark kingdom).

The educational center "Participation", which won the tender for the creation of a specialized league of Rusnano schools, will have to create by 2011 a "network of modern schools focused on preparing students for life in the 'nanoculture'". According to Rusnano, the current state of Russian natural science education, in particular school education, does not correspond to current trends in the development of the world economy, where "knowledge in high technologies, including in the nanoindustry, is in demand."

The newspaper notes that "Rusnano" in September begins to read a course of 21 popular science lectures of the cycle "The World of nanotechnology". Lectures in cities with millions of people, invitations to which the state corporation will send to schools and universities, will be read by seven professors in natural sciences with PhD and doctoral degrees. The state corporation spent 2.5 million rubles on education in a similar way in 2009.

The newspaper notes that Skolkovo is also thinking about launching its own educational program. The Innograd Managing Fund plans to attract the largest universities to create their own master's and postgraduate programs. Rosatom State Corporation is also spending money on the construction of five of its own educational centers in the regions.
