In the Krasnodar Territory, doctors will use a "mirror for drinkers" for prevention
For the first time, the mobile application Drinking Mirror, which means "a mirror for drinkers", will be used in the work of the field consulting rooms of the preventive project "Kuban regardless".
By taking a picture on a tablet, patients will be able to observe how their appearance will change when they actually consume a certain amount of alcoholic beverages. They will see their image on the screen after ten years of regular consumption of alcoholic beverages, the press service of the regional Ministry of Health reports.
Residents of Novorossiysk will be the first to see how their appearance will change in the case of 10-year alcohol abuse. On April 27, a city preventive action "Healthy City" will be held here, in which specialists of the Kuban Regardless project are invited to participate.
An original way to combat alcoholism, especially for women, was developed and recently presented by doctors in Scotland.
