Pharmstandard invested $1 million in Genotek
One of the largest drug manufacturing companies in Russia, Pharmstandard, has invested $1 million in Genotek, a DNA research company.
The largest shareholders of Genotek are former head of the presidential administration Alexander Voloshin and CEO of Rusagro agroholding Maxim Basov. Investments will be used to develop the pharmacogenetic direction.
Recall that about $2 million was invested in Genotek last year. Voloshin and Basov also acted as investors. Founded in 2010, Genotek specializes in genome research. According to the company, in 2013 Genotek's turnover amounted to $1 million.
