Russian HIV vaccine: no comments
The Ministry of Health again announced the development of an HIV vaccine

This is reported by TASS with reference to the head of the Ministry of Health Veronika Skvortsova.
"The vaccine is at the stage of clinical trials, all without much change (obviously, something like this message is meant – VM). This is not such a simple matter, I am not ready to tell you any nuances right now. We have four institutes making alternative vaccines. We do not have such a drug that would show effectiveness, as there was, and there is not," the minister said.
Skvortsova's words are also confirmed by dozens of complaints from HIV-infected people sent this summer to the public council of the Ministry of Health – patients complained of side effects after being transferred to domestic drugs.
Meanwhile, already in September, the effectiveness of the only preventive HIV drug, the drug Truvada from Gilead Sciences, was proven in the United States.
