That's not what we agreed on

Bryce Cleary from the US state of Oregon, 30 years ago, as a medical student, donated his sperm to a clinic for the treatment of infertility. He agreed to fertilize no more than five women in another part of the country, but in fact he had at least 17 children in Oregon, CNN reports.

Cleary demanded $5.2 million in compensation from the clinic. He points out that his children went to the same schools, churches or other institutions, not knowing that they were relatives. This brought him significant emotional experiences.

"I wanted to help people struggling with infertility, and I believed that OHSU (Oregon Health and Science University in Portland) would act responsibly and fulfill its promises. Recently, I became painfully aware that these promises were lies," the doctor said.

What else is known:
The American has a wife, three children and an adopted daughter. He began to learn about other children in 2018, when two of them found him themselves using a family search site Ancestry.com . Cleary sent his own DNA to the site and found out that he had at least 17 children.
