The golden cover of the magazine "In the World of Science"

On December 11, the 9th ceremony of awarding the international award "Cover of the Year" was held in the hall of the Golden Ring Theater. More than 300 laureates took part in the competition program, within the framework of which an authoritative jury had to choose the winners.

In the prestigious nomination "Entertainment and educational publications", the first place was taken by the magazine "In the world of Science". In an acute competitive struggle, "In the World of Science" was able to bypass more than 30 other publications presented in this nomination.

This evening, representatives of the editorial office, headed by its editor-in-chief, Professor Sergey Petrovich Kapitsa, accepted the award from the organizers of the competition. Then Sergey Petrovich made a welcoming speech to the participants, guests and organizers of the event, and also expressed gratitude to the jury and organizers of the award, who appreciated the work of the editorial staff.

The magazine "In the World of Science", the Russian-language version of the authoritative international publication Scientific American, is intended for both scientific intelligentsia and educated readers who seek to keep abreast of the advanced achievements of world science and technology. The publication discusses the place and role of science, education in the modern world, the responsibility of scientists for the fate of mankind, the interaction of science and society.
