The man-eating Ford drove on human fat

Human-based biofuels

Craig Alan Bittner was engaged in the processing of fat, which he removed from his patients, into biofuels. He fueled his own Ford with this "fuel", as well as his girlfriend's Lincoln. Now the doctor's scientific experiments are being investigated by the state Health Department.

According to Forbes magazine, there is nothing supernatural in such activities. The fact is that animal or vegetable fat contains triglycerides, which can be processed into fuel. Some companies in the United States regularly conduct experiments on the creation of biofuels based on melted chicken fat, pork or lamb fat, as well as soy oil.

At the same time, the energy intensity of a liter of fat-based fuel is about the same as that of a conventional diesel. The only difficulty lies in the processing.

"Most of my patients ask me to use their fats as fuel," Dr. Bittner wrote on the website lipodiesel.com "They [patients] not only get rid of their huge bellies, but also take part in saving the Earth."

The use of fats in the fuel industry is good for the environment, but in California it is prohibited to use medical waste in the automotive industry. It is not yet known how long the doctor has been engaged in the production of biofuels and exactly how he made it, but the activities of aesculapius attracted the attention of the Department of Health after a number of lawsuits against him. The plaintiffs claimed that the doctor allowed his assistant and his girlfriend to perform operations, although they did not have the appropriate license.

Comments from the California Department of Health have not yet been received.
