The agency's report notes that the need to create a universal portal dedicated to nanotechnology in Russia "has been felt for a long time."
"A large number of Internet resources covering various aspects of the nanoindustry does not allow us to form a complete picture of the research conducted in Russia and the results achieved, and also does not reflect the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of nanotechnology development," Rosnauke believes.
The new "nanoportal", created within the framework of the federal program for the development of nanoindustry infrastructure in Russia for 2008-2010, "will contribute to the solution of educational and scientific tasks in the field of nanoindustry, will accelerate the solution of engineering and production tasks, as well as accelerate the commercialization of research and development," the report says.
As part of the presentation, a round table will be held, which will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science and Rosnauki, scientists.
