Russian Innovation Week in St. Petersburg: registration of participants has begun
Russian Innovation Week is a joint project of the Government of St. Petersburg and the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation (Rusnano). The event will be held in two cities: the II St. Petersburg International Innovation Forum and the XIII International Forum "Russian Industrialist" will be held in St. Petersburg from September 30 to October 3, and the II International Forum on Nanotechnology will be held in Moscow from October 6 to 8.
According to the press service of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade of St. Petersburg, registration for the St. Petersburg part of the Russian Innovation Week, which will consist of congress and exhibition events, has begun on the official website of the Forum.
The exhibition will be divided into several sectors – "Innovative Russia" (stands of Rusnano, the Special Economic Zone of St. Petersburg, the Ingria Technopark, innovation and technology centers, universities, the Russian Academy of Sciences, innovative companies, the Russian Association of Direct and Venture Investment, regions of the Russian Federation) and "Russian Industrialist" (machine tool construction and metalworking, laser technologies, radio electronics, energy saving, etc.). It will be important to hold a business contacts exchange at the Russian Innovation Week.
The congress part consists of a plenary session, conferences, seminars, discussions, round tables, master classes. The topic includes all the main directions of innovation development – science and education, seed and venture financing, cluster development, infrastructure, patenting, personnel training, nanotechnology, etc.
Special attention will be paid to determining the drivers of the innovative economy.
Already today, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation, the Center for Strategic Research "North-West", the Russian Association of Direct and Venture Investment, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Public Council for the Development of Small Business under the Governor have announced their desire to hold events within the framework of the RIN St. Petersburg, NP Russoft and other leading business associations.
The decision to hold the Russian Innovation Week was made in October last year, at the I St. Petersburg International Innovation Forum. During its work, St. Petersburg and Rusnano have previously agreed to sign a Cooperation Agreement, one of the main points of which was the annual joint holding of the Russian Innovation Week in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
