Scientific Research Institute named after The Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel announces recruitment for master's, postgraduate and postdoctoral programs at Feinberg Graduate School.
Upon graduation, academic degrees of Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy are awarded. The training is conducted in the main areas of physics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, and information technology.
The official language of instruction is English. Students from North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia study at the graduate school. South and Central America.
Undergraduates, postgraduates, postdoctoral students receive a scholarship covering tuition and living expenses.
Undergraduates are paid 5,000 shekels per month in the first year, and 5,750 in the second. For good reasons, the payment can be extended up to 3 months, but not necessarily in full. Doctoral students are paid 6,600 shekels per month in the first year, and 7,600 in the second. Payments to postdoctoral students in 2012 amounted to 8960 shekels per month.
Travel grants are provided for postgraduate and postdoctoral students to participate in international conferences and educational programs. The grant amount is usually about $2,000 per year. Funds are provided within a month after the application is submitted.
Applications for participation in Master's programs in 2013 are accepted online on the Feinberg Graduate School website until April 30, 2013.
Applications for postgraduate and postdoctoral studies are accepted at any time during the year, however, in the case of postdoctoral students, meetings of the selection committee for awarding certain scholarships are held twice a year, in this case, the deadline for submitting applications is January 5 and July 15.
